From your first phone call to turning the key on your finished building — here's exactly what to expect and how long each phase takes.
You call or submit a quote request. We discuss your needs, preferences, and budget. We visit your property if needed to assess site conditions. You receive a detailed written quote with full specifications. This phase typically takes 1-3 days depending on project complexity.
Once you approve the quote and provide a deposit, we order your building kit from the manufacturer. Engineered drawings are created and stamped for your specific NC county and site. We begin the permit application process with your local building department. The building kit is manufactured and scheduled for delivery.
Permits are submitted and processed (timeline varies by county — 1-4 weeks). While permits are being processed, we coordinate foundation work. Your concrete contractor pours the slab or prepares the foundation per engineered specifications. Foundation must cure before building installation begins (typically 7 days for concrete).
The building kit is delivered to your property. Our licensed crew arrives and begins installation. Most residential buildings are installed in 1-3 days. Larger commercial and agricultural buildings may take 3-5 days. All work is performed per engineered drawings and NC building codes.
Final inspections are scheduled and completed with your county building department. Any punch-list items are addressed. You receive your Certificate of Occupancy or final approval. Keys are handed over and your building is ready to use. Total timeline from start to finish: typically 6-10 weeks.
